Keep the coop clean. an easy way to secure your chicken coop is to make sure it’s spic-and-span at all times. sure, this will protect your chickens from health-related hazards – but it can also protect against predators, too. a clean coop is less likely to invite predators like raccoons and rats.. Whenever i make fried chicken, the crust comes out way too dark and overdone. it still tastes ok, but lately i've set out to get it right. i have a candy thermometer and make sure the oil is 375 degrees and i only put in 3-4 pieces at a time in a large heavy bottom frying pan. all the suggestions i've found basically, like having the chicken.
We both start with raw chicken, but my sister uses all dark meat chicken for her broth - and it is darker than my whole chicken broth. not dark brown compared to yellow, but, darker. i can tell. maybe we're just different : ). Chicken coop design: a way to collect eggs. your chicken coop should also have a way for you to easily collect the eggs. one of our coops is large enough for us to just walk into, while another coop is smaller. we use a window box to collect the eggs in that coop. if your coop has a way for you to collect eggs from the outside, so much the better..
